Original vs. Edit

The lab doesn’t know what type of day I was shooting at, maybe the light was warmer than the scan shows or I don’t like how desaturated the colors are in the final scan. I was quickly brought back to why I edit my digital photos, shooting in RAW is great but the colors aren’t represented as they should be. Would I send a friend or potential client unedited photos? Absolutely not! So why is it different for film?

Some photos have more colors than others because of the film stock I was using but also there wasn’t much editing that needed to be done which attests to the film and my settings I used
