Freeform Halloween Road!

It’s October and you know what that means! SPOOKY EVENTS!!!!! I heard about Freeform’s Halloween Road a few years back and thought it looked insanely cool but also difficult to get tickets since they sell out in minutes… Well, this year I haven’t been taking any chances and I immediately grabbed tickets without asking questions lmao. I ended up going with my two pals Sam and Chas who are always fun to hang out with and they also helped me get cool photos/videos of myself that are posted on my Instagram if you wanna check them out! But for now, let’s see what shenanigans we got up to and most importantly, was it worth the price? (spoiler alert: it was!!!!)

As you walk in you’re immediately greeted by giant tentacles and a sign that says Freeform Halloween Road and man was I excited! The event started at 6pm, we arrived around 5:30 to get parking and beat the crowds, which we quickly learned was a smart move on our part. This was also the last night so we had to make sure we soaked in everything

The first stop of course is the freeform blue wall where Sam and Chas graciously posed for me and they’re clearly naturals!

Hay Bale Photo-op (photos on my instagram ;)

Something that I knew from a bit of research is this event is Photo-op heavy and I was all about it. Now, I’m not one for pictures of myself but over the years I’ve learned to suck it up buttercup and just have fun with it because I can look back at this and remember all the fun I had :)

We waited in line for the mayors car and Town Hall photo-op which may have been my personal favorites, although I REALLY love the holiday trees because they looked like they were straight out of the movie. The details on this photo-ops are INSANE. Like, where else would you be able to get fun photos like this?!

Making our way down the trail we ran into Jack, Sally their many many rows of pumpkins and Finkelstein’s lab which gave me so many ideas for my photo-op I’m doing later this month

Ice and Jay from Hocus Pocus ;)

We asked a staff member if we could get a photo with Sarah and he reluctantly said yes! She wasn’t supposed to be with us for photos because social distancing and everything. The funniest part is the actress said “I think if I go for 30 seconds I won’t burn up and die!” which made me laugh so hard in the cage lmao

I was clearly starstruck by Billy lmao

Continuing the Hocus Pocus train they had a DRAG SHOW and me and Sam got to hang out with Billy in his grave along with a pumpkin that he stole back from us!

We ventured into Oogies Lair and let me tell you…there was no shortage of backlights which made it semi hard to get good pictures but I made it work

Our QUEEN Wednesday Addams was having a blast at Halloween Road and obviously we were too so we had to commemorate the moment with a photo

And to close out the night we stopped in to meet up with the Stay Puft marshmallow and in Christmas town to meet up with Sandy Claws but he wasn’t home so we opted for some toys instead. To say we had fun is an understatement my dudes. I had a FREAKEN BLAST!!!!! I love Halloween, I love spooky events and I especially love special events like this that come once a year. To close out this post I’m adding some fun photo-ops that we were able to take and they sent to us during the event! I CANNOT wait until next year to see what else Freeform has to offer.

As always, you can check me out on Instagram! Thanks for reading :)
