CreepIE Con

Having a new horror convention pop up in the Inland Empire was a real treat. Don’t get me wrong, I love having cons close to me but sometimes driving out to a new spot allows me to check out the horror scene in a new city. CreepIE con allowed me to see cosplayers who I never would’ve known about before and I can look out for them at more events this year! Speaking of cosplayers (nice segue, right?) I got plenty of cosplayers and fun photos to show y’all so let’s get started!

DAY 1

Like with any con you have to do the full walk-around to see what vendors are there, how big the space is and figure out where you’re going to sit down after walking around for too long and your feet hurt and you’re hungry and need a break… My fellow con goers know what I’m talking about ;)

First thing I noticed was Ghostface waiting in line for food and I felt like I was home again, what a feeling! There would be plenty more Ghostface over the next 2 days which isn’t surprising since Scream just came out and people were buzzing about it

There’s plenty of haunts that frequent horror cons to get folks pumped for October. I’ve run into the guys and gals of Fear Farm more than once and I’m making it a priority this year to visit! Cookie even came over to say hi and wanted a close up. He was worried that he blinked but I told him it’s cool, I’ll fix it in post

DAY 2

How is it that I run into ANOTHER Ghostface mask at the beginning of the day? Dumb luck I guess ahaha

During the con I was able to chat with Liz who is the co-owner of Arts Sideshow that has been working tirelessly to get their horror museum up and running by Late March they’re hoping. She also invited me to their soft opening TBD and I’ll be sure to make a post about it and let y’all know when it’s opening day is!

Thank you CreepIE con for putting together this amazing event and keeping it as safe as possible. They checked vaccine cards, had a rapid testing tent on site for those who needed a same day test FREE of charge I might add! The celebrities were in abundance and it was great to see so many horror fans in one place again. I can’t wait for next year and I’m excited for the rest of this years plans

As always, you can check me out on Instagram! Thanks for reading :)
